Lake Night
A night of tubing and swimming for Middle and High School students at Cultus Lake. We’ve got a boat to ourselves and an amazing lake to enjoy - it doesn’t get more “summer in BC” than this! Whether you love going tubing or just want to share snacks and play sports on the beach, this is an annual event a lot of people look forward to. PFD’s will be provided, and we encourage you to bring a swimsuit, towel and some snacks to share. See you at Maple Bay! This event is open to Middle School and High School students (including those who start middle school in the fall).
Worship Night
Join us at Broadway Church for an evening of songs and prayer. Come prepared to lift your voice, encounter the presence of God, and catch up with one another. This event is for middle school and high school students (including those who will be starting middle school in the fall). Enter through the Maple Avenue doors (same as on a youth night). See you there!
VBC Volunteer Team
Our church is hosting a day camp for kids in our neighbourhood and our church, and we’ve got opportunities for you to be involved.
VBC is a four day mini camp for kids aged 3 - Grade 5. Broadway Kids hosts this camp each year to share the love of Jesus with local kids and give them a place to have some fun. We have a variety of volunteer roles available ranging from helping with small groups of kids to helping run stations. There are sports, crafts, snacks, Bible teaching, games, prizes and more. Camp runs from 9am until 12:30pm, and you can volunteer for as many or as few days works for you. The mandatory team training day is Sunday, July 12th at 11:30am. This is an awesome opportunity for those of us who want to give back and help serve the next generation. If YOUTH has been a special place for you, we can practice passing that on to others - and have a lot of fun along the way.

Summer Camp is an awesome place to have a ton of fun - and an even better place to grow as a leader. Our high school group will be heading up to Stillwood once again to help make their Day Camp happen. We’ll help with the program throughout the day by leading activities and spending time with groups of kids, and then we’ll spend the evenings doing team building activities and enjoying the summer camp lifestyle. We get to stay at camp all week long, and all of our meals are covered. This is an awesome opportunity for those of us who want to give back and help serve the next generation. If YOUTH has been a special place for you, we can practice passing that on to others. If you’re interested, fill out the application below by June 2nd.
Year End BBQ Pool Party
We’re having a pool party to celebrate a great year together! Join us at 49700 Campbell Rd from 6:30-9:00 for swimming, yard games, burgers and more. Come ready to eat, because dinner and dessert are provided! This event is for both high school and middle school students. We are so excited to celebrate together!

A Middle School YOUTH night at Broadway church! This special event is a celebration of Jesus with a dance & worship party with music, lights, and neon! Together we’ll have time to hangout, play games, enjoy snacks, have great conversations, and more! All students in grades 6-8 are welcome, and for this event we are also inviting grade 5 students to come experience middle school youth!
Disclaimer: this event will have flashing lights, so we will have an alternative space downstairs with more low-key activities during rave-like part of the night, which will be open to all the students.

Leaders Nights are an opportunity for our middle school program volunteers to get together to pray, train, and grow as leaders so that we can be better equipped to serve students. As such, we will not be hosting students this week, though we look forward to seeing you next week!
High School Small Group Night
A small group night for High School students. Small group nights are an opportunity for your small group to spend time together in a way that you choose. Our groups will be meeting all over town in various locations to have a good time and grow together. Your small group leader will let you know where to meet and what you’ll be up to, and if you’re not sure what’s going on, reach out to your small group leader and they will get you pointed in the right direction.

Shine (MS Retreat)
Our Middle School Youth students have the opportunity to go to Stillwood Camp’s SHINE retreat!!! We are so excited for this year’s middle school retreat, and you can learn all about it below!

SHINE is an amazing weekend designed exclusively for middle school students!
Wacky night games!
Epic activities like laser tag, rock climbing, and high ropes!
Chow down on camp food! (meals provided Saturday and Sunday)
Sleep in a cabin alongside friends from your youth group, and trusted volunteers! (all volunteers have completed criminal record checks)
Tons of stuff to enjoy during down-time, like disc golf, the games room, the ugly mug cafe full of board games, searching camp for hidden ducks, and more!
Worship with hundreds of students from all over the Fraser Valley!
Listen in as the camp speaker shares about Jesus and invites you to encounter the God that made it all!

The cost for registering for SHINE is $158+GST ($165.90 total) per student. Stillwood requires payment during the registration process.
We recognize this isn’t always manageable for families, so Broadway is offering to cover $50 off the registration cost for all our students. That means the payment required at registration will be discounted to $115.90 per student. Contact Richard for more information on how to apply that discount.
If you want to go to SHINE, but your family can’t afford $115.90, Broadway is open to providing additional help on a case-by-case basis. Contact Richard for more information.

Shine takes place at Camp Stillwood, located at 44005 Watt Road, Lindell Beach, V2R 4X9, which is at the far end of Cultas Lake and part-way up the mountain.
Drop-off and Pick-up will be at Camp Stillwood’s gazebo, located at the east end of camp by the mess hall.
Check-in is Friday, April 10th at 6:30pm. Please keep in mind that Cultas is often busy and frequently has construction along the lake, so give yourself lots of time to arrive on-time. Please note that dinner will not be provided Friday, only a snack, so you’ll want to have dinner first.
Check-out is Sunday, April 12th at the same gazebo at 1:30pm.
